The fireworks were great, they did quite a show this year. The whole time of the fireworks we were standing in line to get donuts, LOL, but could see the show perfect. The donuts were well worth it! Back to the grind today, a very busy day ahead of me, it's magazine day and Chris is still on vacation, not real sure how that's going to work out but we'll see, long as I don't have a day like Friday where every person that came in was pissed off about something and I took the brunt of it, ahhh, such is life working with the public. LOL I stood as long as I could and then started the fight to get her home, she doesn't quite understand that my back was killing me.

I came home, felt like a dirt bag from standing around over there, got in the shower, took some pills for my back and now I'm just planning to kick back and relax and do nothing, well, maybe there's a good movie on tonight. Tomorrow is my only day off this week, I have to run to Bridgewater to pick up a birthday gift, get a few things at Wal-Mart for Josh for camp, and maybe, just maybe, if I can convince my husband that 30 minutes won't kill him, go see my mother. So that's my very boring Privateer Days, first year I've missed Friday night at the bar and I hope the last, but after the day I had yesterday and being up early today and on my feet all day, I just don't have it in me to head to town tonight. Next weekend we'll be going out for Denise and Robby's wedding reception and the week after that, Jeff will be home, so I'm sure we'll get a night out while he's home.

LOL The pool is quite cold after a few days of rain, so it's got the solar cover on it soaking up some sun, plus with her ear infection she needs to stay out of it for a couple of days anyway. So she's just going to hang off me till I got back to work tomorrow I guess. Thursday she'll go to Tina's for the day to get ready for all the stuff the Cheerleaders are doing over Privateer Days, I drop her off before I go to work and pick her up when I get off, should be a good day for all of the girls.

Josh will soon start to get ready for camp, he goes in 2 weeks, this is his 3rd year and he's really looking forward to it, this year they go out to sleep in the woods for a couple of nights with their instructor, learning some new things and using some of the things he's learned in his first 2 years.

Well hubby is out in the kitchen making supper, deep fried fish and chips, so I should maybe go give him a hand? LOL

No big plans for tomorrow, some sleepin in, my back has been very bad the last few days and I'm not sleeping at all, just doze off for an hour or so and wake up, it's hellish. Our town doesn't do July 1st celebrations anymore, it will all take place on the weekend for Privateer Days, fireworks aren't till Sunday night, which is pretty stupid in my opinion, people have to work on Monday, was much better when they were on Friday night. I have to work Saturday but hope to get out of the building long enough to watch the parade, since Breanna is in it. And Sunday we have a car wash and bottle drive for the cheerleading group. They are having the rides for the kids again this year, last year was just a big waste of money, just a few rides, most older than we are, I don't hold out much hope for it being better this year, which sucks, Privateer Days used to be a big for the kids, now, not so much.

LOL NOT! So yea, Josh has an appointment at the IWK tomorrow to see if they can do his surgery this summer, the only thing that could go wrong is that the Dr might decide that he has too much scar tissue, due to all of his operations on and around his belly. It will suck if that happens, he's looking forward to getting it done, life will be much easier for him.

Yesterday was my second day alone at work and it couldn't have gone much worse than it did. I messed the computer up to start with, never did get that fixed, so that was a bad start to my day, then it was dead, I thought I'd go nuts, right from that to having 7 people standing in line waiting to buy new phones, only one left, which wasn't too bad considering.

We bought a new bed Friday night, well we got the box spring and mattress, the frame will be here in a week or so, Doug decided we needed to get the mattress just to see if it would help my back and as of this morning, it didn't, I guess there's just no help for it. I hope to get rid of our old one today and have had a couple of calls, if the first person doesn't soon contact me, I'll call the second one back to see if they want to come and get it.

Yesterday Breanna and I went over to DL's for Miss Megan's 9th birthday party, 4 girls, 3 teenagers, 2 dogs and DL and I, we didn't even get drunk but it might have been an idea. It was nice, the first time in, forever, that her and I have sat down for a couple of hours and talked, I miss that so much, it was just like old times, except a lot more noise involved. LOL Such tough talk from an old woman eh?

I'm going to try to get out of work at about 4:15 today, it's the closing for the Liverpool Priva-Cheer club, Breanna thinks I can't come, so she'll be happy to see me there. We decided last night that she's going to do 2 weeks of swimming lessons this summer, she can swim like a fish, but she taught herself, she'd never go to lessons. This year she wants to go, so we'll do our best to get her there. One of the weeks that she's going to go Doug will be on vacation, so that will be easy, the next week will be a little harder but I hope that Sally will help us out. There's also an art camp for a week that she'd love, it's in Brooklyn and would get her out of the house and give Josh a break for a week, it's every afternoon till 4:30, he should actually have had surgery by then I hope, so he won't have anything better to do. LOL

Well I should send her out to the bus, looks like it's going to be a hot one! Have a great day people! DL, see you later when you visit! :)

So yesterday this kid was more than rude, I was pissed, my blood pressure went through the roof and I told Chris that chances were, I wouldn't be sticking around for that shit. So either someone does something about it, or I'll be looking for another job.

LOL DL came over to visit and of course, that was a busy time, so we didn't get much chance to chat.

So after 1 day off, tomorrow it's back at it. Tuesday I have to go have my B12 shot and get some blood work papers, one for me and one for Breanna. I can't understand why she can't lose weight and I'm starting to think there maybe more to it than her not eating right. The kid is on the go all the time, on the trampoline, at Cheer, you name it, so she should be able to lose some, she can't get a pound off. She's getting discouraged so we'll get her blood work done just incase.

Anyway, time for a bath and watch some TV.
